I am not a coin collector, so I have no idea what coins are worth. However, I know they are worth something. So when I found a few pieces up in the attic, I was elated-I saw coins that were from so many years ago.

I am more of being practical, so if something is of no use to me, I know it will be better off exchanged. I decided to sell old silver dollar and take the pieces to a local store. Guess what-the guy did not even look at them. He just said he will pay me $10 bucks for it. Imagine that?! It was unbelievable.

I thought I had better chances if I searched online for possible dealers, so I tried to look for more reputable ones. Definitely not like the kind I encountered. Since I had no idea about coins, I tried my luck on jewelers. I found one that takes all kinds of precious metals, and they have been in the industry for a few decades. I called them up and asked about whether they can take a look at the pieces. So I had them mail the kit, then I put the pieces there and sent it back to them. Guess what-I got $500 for the pieces I sent! Good thing I decided to sell silver to this jeweler.
