I read an article in the newspaper about how lots of people are cashing in and all they do is sell old gold jewelry. The price of gold has apparently gone way up over the past year and continues to rise. Jewelers take the old gold pieces, and melt them down in some cases and make new pieces.

I guess that if some of the pieces that are being sold are nice, they are being resold for a higher amount than what was given to the seller. I think that I may look into the tips and tricks of how to sell gold and cash in on the sell old gold jewelry thing before the prices drop. I do have a few old pieces that my grandmother gave me in her will that have just been sitting around getting dusty.

I do not think that my grandmother would mind since she was always looking for a quick buck herself. If I can make even half the amount of money on her old pieces that she paid for them then I will be very happy. If I check on line who to sell gold to get out the most money, and then it is possible that I can make a little over half of what grandma paid.
